Last month at MCS:

During Chapel, in conjunction with being optimistic, we took a look into the life of Elijah, a man of great faith. God delivered him and helped him in some very tricky situations. Praise God, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Science was all about minerals. Crystals were grown from saturated solutions. Gemstones and ores were studied, but special attention was given to the precious stones mentioned in the Bible: the priestly breastplate of the high-priest and the layers of the foundations of heaven.

Students and teacher learned how to crochet in art classes, thanks to Debbie Cernick. Also in the arts, performing arts, the students have been learning their way around the piano keyboard, and are getting pretty good on the ukulele. Music classes have been made possible by faithful volunteers. Thank you Mrs. Lynn and Mrs. Evelyn!

Bible Verse of the Month:

Psalm 92:1 (KJV)

92 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands
